What's it take to be a
Pentagon Paintball Employee?
It takes about a year to get hired at Pentagon Paintball. It starts with previous playing experience at Pentagon for about a year. This helps the prospective Ref to understand how hard it is to be a Pentagon Ref. Then, if he/she bugs us enough during that time, we may asked him/her to volunteer ref for a while. If the working Refs give us good reviews about the prospective Ref then he/she will be considered to be a fulltime Ref. After all that, the prospective Ref still isn't a Pentagon Employee. The prospective Ref must understand he/she will also be asked to clean toilets, mow grass, deal with all kinds of customer problems, mop floors, build bunkers, be self motivating, feed the birds, recognize problems quickly and fix them, pull nets properly, love dogs, ref in 15 degree weather and the pouring rain, tolerate children young and old, repair bunkers and do it all without complaining. Then and only then will they be given an application for paid employment. Yes, we actually pay these guys and they do pay taxes like a real job.
